Mental math

Every week I usually have mental math  in class. This is  an activity to improve my computation skills in numbers . I need to do the questions in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division  quickly in 5 minutes.  After 5 min I have to  stop and check my answers. Sometimes I exchange my work with my friend's work. 

My tessellation

In mathematics I  studied the shape and space. In this geometry lesson  I  learnt  to make a  tessellation.  This  picture on the left is the tessellation that I made.  It is very fun to do tessellation because we can learn how to be patient  and careful when color our tessellation. 

Natural disaster : Earthquake

An earthquake is one of the natural disaster. An earthquake can't be predicted even though the scientist are still working on it. An  earthquake can  cause a tsunami  and some of the house and building will  collapse. The sichuan earthquake is one of an example of a big and devastating earthquake because it had killed lots of people and made a huge destruction.
